Jordan Zooms Into Contention at Byron Nelson

Great round today catapulted Jordan into contention.

Jordan shot a great round marred only by bogeys on 6 and 15, but lots of birdies heading to a 64.

Jordan now at 6 under par is just 3 shots off the lead

With the weather breaking and Jordan in the hunt should be a great moving day Saturday.

Cant believe they were able to get the course ready after the torrential downpours this past week

Regardless the game is on.

Jordan opened with a 1 under par 69. 2 birdies and 1 bogey. Missed several putts he usually makes but drove the ball well.

Trails the leader by 7 strokes but a long way to go.

Never count him out, as he always seems to end up in the top 10.

Look for low numbers tomorrow.

Tough day to play golf in Ft. Worth.

Rainy conditions and thick rough led to very tough conditions for golf today.

Jordan played 14 holes well but was stung badly in the middle 4 holes of the front 9. stumble included a triple bogey on the tight driving par 4 5th hole.

Jordan was 5 over in the 5 hole stretch leading to a 3 over par 73.

Still despite the tough day Jordan finds himself tied for 15 at 3 under par. He trails Na by 7 shots.

Hopefully we will get a respite from the rains for a few days and Jordan can make a charge. Never count him out.
