Jordan Spieth And Michael Greller save The Day After Boy Injured In Autograph Scrum
Spieth and caddy Michael Greller show some compassion when 11 year old Nathan Higgs got hurt in an autograph scrum around the Masters Champion.
Nathan Higgs a sixth grader from Toronto was reduced to tears at Firestone Country Club on Wednesday, after being pushed down in a scrum around Masters and U.S. Open champion Jordan Spieth.
The young lad got unfortunatly caught up in all the madness surrounding the arrival of Spieth. Fortunately for him, Mark Derring (chairman of operations) saw the event unfolding and told Greller.
Greller grabbed the young boy, lifting him over the fence and took him to safety. He then took him over to see Jordan Spieth so that Nathan could get his pin flagged signed by the World No. 2.
Great to see these golfers keeping the fans happy!
And showing some genuine compassion….
