Since 1934, the Masters Tournament has seen many records. There are many records for hole-by-hole scoring, round records and tournament records. The official book of Augusta National Golf Club contains a Hall of Fame listing of well-known names.
Which record is most important?
Jack Nicklaus has six wins (1963, 1965. 1966, 1972. 1975. 1986). This year Tiger Woods is entered. A victory by Woods (1997-2001, 2022. 2005, 2019, 2019) would tie Nicklaus’ record. The next is Arnold Palmer, who has four titles (1958-1962, 1964), followed by five players (Jimmy Demaret and Sam Sned, Gary Player, Nick Faldo, and Phil Mickelson) with three victories at Augusta National.
You can also find some other fascinating records at the Masters media guide.
