Final Qualifying Events
The final qualifying rounds for the 2024 U.S. Open took place at three locations on May 20. However, an additional 10 qualifiers were held on Monday, one in Canada and nine spread across eight states from the East Coast to the West. At each location, hundreds of golfers battled over 36 holes, vying for a coveted spot at Pinehurst No. 2 in the Village of Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Competition Intensity
The field for the upcoming U.S. Open, scheduled for June 13-16, will consist of 156 players, with 44 spots secured on Monday. The day commenced with 687 golfers from the PGA Tour, LIV Golf, and numerous amateurs. As a result, the 124th U.S. Open field now stands at 127 participants.
