Tony Finau won his fifth PGA Tour win on Sunday. This was his third win since July 2022. It’s an understatement to say that he is in top form.
Finau was the betting favourite (+900) for RSM Classic at Sea Island Golf Club on St. Simons Island in Georgia. He was hoping to win back-to-back victories for the second consecutive year in 2022.
But he is no longer on the field.
Finau resigned from the RSM citing an injury. He was replaced by Kevin Chappell.
This is the last Tour event in 2022. However, Finau will be there in December at Tiger Woods’ Hero World Challenge in Albany (The Bahamas).
