The Omicron variant of COVID-19 was found to be causing positive COVID-19 tests in more than 800,000 Americans every day during the days leading up the 2022 PGA Merchandise Show. Major golf equipment manufacturers were forced to withdraw from the Orange County Convention Center’s annual trade show and the Demo Day, which takes place each year at Orange County National Golf Club in Winter Garden.
Brands are announcing plans to attend the PGA Merchandise Show again in January 2023, with lower infection rates, better treatment for COVID-19, and more people vaccinated.

Acushnet Company’s Titleists and FootJoy made it clear that they would be present at Demo Day as well as a large presence at the PGA Show.
