This was also the case last year for Patrick Cantlay, the defending champion, and U.S. Open champions Jon Rahm (2021), and Matt Fitzpatrick (222) ahead of this week’s 2022 BMW Championship at Wilmington Country Club in Delaware.
On Tuesday, all three players spoke with the media and were asked their opinions about the long season for the cup. While offering constructive criticism, the trio also criticized the format and said they didn’t know the solution. Here is what they had to share.
