Two other players have withdrawn their support for the RBC Heritage.
Kevin Kisner withdrew after his first round of 8-over 79 at Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Fox finished his nine-hole first round at 6 over before he was forced to withdraw due to illness.
Kisner’s WD was not explained. He missed the Masters cut last week and has struggled all season, missing the cut for half of his 10 starts.
Fox finished 26th at Augusta National and tied for 26th. The week before, Fox missed the cut at Valero Texas Open.
After finishing four holes, he had three bogeys on the back nine at the RBC Heritage. He then had a triple on the last nine.
