Gear: LA golf blade putter Cost: $1500 with graphite shaft & Winn Jumbo-Lite DRI TAC grip
Specifications: A composite head made of milled carbon and 303 stainless steel with a face insert and adjustable sole weights in tungsten. 33” to 35”
Who is it for: For deep-pocketed golfers looking for extreme forgiveness and stability on greens with a more consistent play.
The skinny: LA Golf was able to design a huge, heel-toe-weighted blade putter using carbon composite. This allowed for greater stability and forgiveness.
The Deep Dive: LA Golf (LAGP), has been making high-performance graphite shafts since the beginning of the last few years for Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau and other top tour players. They are used by many of them in their woods and putters, as the extremely stiff graphite shafts reduce twisting from off-center hits.
LAGP recently acquired SIK (Study In Kinematics). Now, the club has its first tip to grip offering. This blade-style putter combines LAGP’s expertise and carbon materials with one SIK’s key technologies.
