LIV Golf’s leadership is constantly changing.
Golfweek announced Thursday that Jonathan Grella will no longer be the circuit’s chief communication officer. Golf Digest was the first to report.
Grella is the fourth senior leader to step down in the three months since LIV’s inaugural season ended in October. He joins Majed Al Sharour (who will continue to be a board member), Atul Khhosla (chief operating officers) and Matt Goodman, president of franchises.
LIV Golf released a statement saying that LIV is entering its second year. We have a dedicated, hardworking team of staff and we know that sometimes people will leave or pursue other opportunities. We are grateful for all of these cases and will continue to build a top-notch team to help us through the second year.

Grella joined LIV last June after three years as JAG Public Affairs’ president and CEO. Grella was previously a founding partner of PROTEAN Public Affairs, and also the director for communication for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
With the first event on its 2023 calendar, Greg Norman-led, Saudi Arabia-backed league will be back in action in February. LIV Golf and the CW Network reached an agreement last week on a TV deal.
