While Nick Faldo’s time as a CBS Sports golf commentator is ending, he won’t be leaving the game.
Six-time major champion who announced weeks ago that his retirement from TV was imminent, was signed as a global brand ambassador by Hidden Links and several of its sister companies, Golfpac Travel, Tee Times USA, and Go Play Golf Gift Card.
Faldo, 64 years old, has won 33 international championships and nine more on the PGA Tour. He was awarded three green jackets at The Masters and three British Opens. He finished second at the U.S. Open in 1988, and tied for second at the 1992 PGA Championship. He held the Official World Golf Ranking’s top spot for 97 weeks.
Faldo also owns a company that designs golf courses. It has worked in over 20 countries.
Hidden Links offers golf tours to Europe, including Ireland, England and Wales. This partnership is logical, as Faldo lives in Orlando but was born north of London.
Golfpac Travel and Tee Times USA claim to be America’s largest golf tour operator.
Marc Bender and Adam Wachter, Managing Partners, released a statement stating that they are “absolutely delighted to partner with Sir Nick Faldo.” Sir Nick Faldo is a six-time Major Champion and Hall of Famer. He has also been a widely respected figure in the golf world for his charm, wit and knowledge. As we continue to make a positive impact on the game of golf worldwide, this partnership will transform our businesses.
Faldo stated, “With my plans to retire from full-time broadcasting in the near future, I will have sufficient time to be a great partner to their future growth.”
