It’s been amazing to see my students incorporate this concept into their golf swing , and to see how much more they begin to strike that golf ball. It’s all about ball first crisp contact, where the compression improves almost instantly. This thought might be a good choice for those who struggle with thin, scrappy hits and even hooks. There will be a video, but I want to start with …..
-
Your backswing will reach its peak, and your lead/front side will be lower than your trail side. To keep your transition lead side as low as possible during the downswing, I recommend that you do the same.
-
You’ll feel like you’re “surfing down a wave” to the golf ball
-
Avoid putting your upper body in front the ball. Your upper body should not sway when you begin to descend.
-
While the lead side will rise at impact must ensure that front shoulder stays as low as possible
You can see that I tend to lean forward with my upper body while I’m ingraining FEEL. But notice how my upper body reacts during the actual shot. This is a little closer!
These articles should help you enjoy the game. We all know that better shots equals greater enjoyment. We appreciate you checking in!
