This week, the TOUR will wrap up the 2022-2023 section of the schedule at Sea Island Golf Club, Georgia. After a difficult week on Memorial Park in Houston, the TOUR will be ready to take on the 2022 grind at Sea Island’s resort courses. Birdies should be shopping before the holidays, as this week’s scoring returns will be back in the forefront. Plantation and Seaside (host) are both short courses that measure less than 7,000 yards. They will offer excellent scoring opportunities. Everyone is eligible to win, even if distance from the tee is not a factor. Only Kevin Kisner, the winner of the last seven events, has been within a 40:1 chance pre-tournament. The par-70 at Seaside was beaten last year, with the course record of 60 being set twice. The tournament scoring record of 22-under was also set. Plantation has two additional par-5s on its Par-72 layout. Each course will only be used once before Seaside hosts this weekend. This week’s focus will be on the average winning score from the amalgamation, which is nearly 20-under. The large TifEagle Bermuda greens are excellent targets for wedged approaches shots. The greens are pure and true, with a maximum height of 13 feet. They will accept putts that have been well struck. The two courses are surrounded by sand and water, which can cause some problems if they are found. There are many scoring opportunities so don’t be afraid to get up and go. Key Statistics: Only the players listed below are currently competing; click the headline to see more players. Stats for the 2021-22 season. Greens in Regulation. Less yardage means more loft when you approach the greens. There are tons of fairways that get hit here, and so does GIR. Because less than one driver can be featured from the teebox, there is more room for them to feature. GIR has ranked the last five winners, six of seven, and all have ranked within the top 10. These guys don’t care if Bermuda is two inches away from their fairway. To increase your scoring chances, you need to hit big targets! Rounds of 60s are crucial because the average winning score is 20-under. Low scores can increase pressure or open the floodgates. I am looking for men who love festivals of birdsies. Scrambling: Keeping the bogeys from the card this week will relieve the pressure of making birdie elsewhere. Six of the seven previous winners have been ranked among the TOP FIVE in this category. Do not make the mistake of not allowing big greens to be regulated! Birdie or Better Conversion Percentage Big greens should equal GIR, right? Who will take advantage of these opportunities? Seaside is more stingy on the greens than you might think. It ranks in the top 15 in most difficult annually, but the winner will crack that code. Five of the seven previous winners were in the top 10, and only one has been outside the top 17. These are your chances to cash in! The Bottom Line: It is easy to see that longshots have won here. This week, there are many options. Keith Mitchell (Win : +2800; TOP 10 : +260, Top 20 : +120) is a hot prospect. Tom Hoge (Win : +2200); Top 10 : +225;Top 20 : +100) as well as Denny McCarthy (Win : -3300; TOP 10 : +260; TOP 20 : +1130) are also on my radar. Davis Riley (Win : +4000; TOP 10: +333; TOP 20: +160) is a possibility. Good luck! A game plan is the first step to responsible sports betting. Establish a budget. It should be social.
