T3 in 2021, he had a lead of two shots on the 15th green in 2022, but he faltered down the stretch. STORYLINES – Tom Hoge hopes to be the first Pebble Beach champion since 2009-10. Hoge was also the winner of the QBE Shootout last year…. LAST TIME: Tom Hoge won the 203 PGA TOUR start after a 4-under 68 to beat Jordan Spieth and win last year’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Hoge was tied for the 54-hole lead. He made birdies on three of the final five holes, including the 16th hole and the 17th. This allowed him to surpass Jordan Spieth who bogeyed Spieth’s penultimate par-3 hole. Hoge finished 12th in the final group at the 2021 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Seven players held at most a portion of the lead in Sunday’s finale, before Hoge’s final nine charge separated him from his pack. Hoge had made a birdie at 14 and he tapped in to 16 to catch Spieth. Hoge was runner-up at The American Express two weeks prior to this win. Beau Hossler was the only finisher, while Troy Merritt and Patrick Cantlay – who both shot 5-under 67s on Sunday – were tied for fourth.
