Nate Lashley (+270 to be a Top 20)… At Pebble Beach, it’s not discouraged to learn from a talent of a certain era. Veteran tend to not be disturbed by three courses on Poa Anua in unpredictable weather during long round, but the 40-year old isn’t bothered at all. You can’t call it slump if he connects for something extra in recent memories. However, missed cuts happen with the same frequency as paydays. He opened 2023 at Waialae with a T7, where he placed in the top 10 in greens hits, Strokes Gained, Tee-to-Green, scrambling, and par-5 scoring. He also won the AT&T’s last two editions, winning a personal-best T5 for 2021. David Lipsky (+220 to be in the Top 20)… The 34 year-old has already made it clear that he enjoys playing on the PGA TOUR. He had 18 starts as an outsider in five seasons, and he also played abroad. In 2021-22, he was able to put together a strong rookie year that qualified him for the FedExCup Playoffs. As a sophomore member, he is now 5-for-9 and has a pair top 10s. This includes a career-best T4 at Waialae 2023. He made his debut last year here, racing to 9-under in two rounds, before backingpedaling with a pair even-par 72s (on Spyglass Hill, and Pebble Beach) to finish T24. This endorsement is aggressive so make sure to consider a Top 30 market. Lanto Griffin… He took six months off of competition, and then had a microdiscectomy in July. After that, he was able to put four rounds on his board in the Korn Ferry Tour’s 2023 season opener two weeks ago. He was then able to make the Torrey Pines cut and placed T37. It’s not the most exciting return, but it’s still better than many other options. The best thing about his Pebble Beach commitment isn’t the fact that he completed T9 (2020), and T16 (2022) on his previous two trips. It’s the commitment itself. There’s no better place to get your competitive juices flowing than here. Justin Suh… A native of San Jose, Justin Suh has been playing competitive golf in the area for many years. He is now back to compete in this tournament (MC, 2020), with a season-best T20 at Torrey Pines. Despite starting with a miss cut in Napa, Justin Suh struggled to get out of the gates. However, he has now cashed in seven consecutive PGA TOUR rounds since his arrival. He’s a combination of tee to green precision and reliable putting that should continue to provide opportunities on weekends. However, his consistent strong execution will be a challenge as there are three courses. Ben Silverman… It’s all about the mojo. You have the chance to get a sponsor exemption in big leagues if you win The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic at The Abaco Club. The Official World Golf Ranking had placed Canada’s two-time PGA TOUR member 1,240th a little more than seven months ago. Since arriving at the AT&T for his third appearance, he has risen 816 spots to 424th. He also has his 60th career debut, so all the butterflies he’s had are now fluttering together because of this experience. The odds were obtained on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
