JACKSON, Miss. Volunteers are an integral part of every golf tournament.
Volunteers can help in many areas that aren’t visible on television, such as crowd control, helping to find golf balls and keeping score. The volunteers are given the same clothing to make it easy for them to be found and also look similar.
The logo of Sanderson Farms Championship volunteers at The Country Club of Jackson, Jackson, Mississippi has an interesting design.
A shark.
Greg Norman’s shark was featured on his clothing brand, The Greg Norman Collection.
Norman was nicknamed “The Shark” by his playing career. He is now the CEO at the LIV Golf Series. The PGA Tour is currently involved in numerous legal battles.

At the Sanderson Farms Championship, volunteers wore jackets and shirts that had Norman’s logo. It’s possible that most don’t know what brand the apparel is. However, considering what’s going on at large, it’s very ironic.
How does Norman’s logo spread through a PGA Tour event?”
Steve Jent, Sanderson Farms Championship executive Director, stated that he wanted to provide a shirt for volunteers at a fair price. I can’t afford to dress them, but I want to give them something really special. It was a way to save a few dollars here.
